Dr. Sunil Patel is a board-certified vitreoretinal surgeon and physician-scientist with a lifelong commitment to helping patients protect and restore their vision. As the Founder and CEO of Vision BioSciences, he leads the development of regenerative therapies aimed at addressing the underlying causes of retinal degenerative diseases, including geographic atrophy.
With decades of experience caring for patients and leading clinical research, Dr. Patel has served as a principal investigator in hundreds of clinical studies and worked closely with leading biotechnology and ophthalmology companies to advance new treatments for vision loss. His work is deeply informed by the real-world challenges faced by patients and families living with retinal disease.
